Cancellation & Subscription Policy

At ARC BEAuty, we understand that career plans can change rapidly. However, because our services involve customized digital labor and immediate scheduling of creative resources, we have established a clear Cancellation Policy to protect both the client’s investment and our business operations. By purchasing a service from arc-beautystore.myshopify.com, you agree to the following terms.

1. The Right to Cancel (The "Grace Period")

Clients have a 24-hour "Grace Period" from the moment of purchase to cancel their order for a full refund, provided that the Career History Questionnaire has not yet been submitted and work has not commenced.

  • To trigger a cancellation, you must email pmoletsane1@gmail.com or WhatsApp 0750970131 with your Order Number and the subject line "CANCELLATION REQUEST."
  • Once our writing team begins the "Drafting Phase," a cancellation is no longer possible for a full refund (see Section 2).

2. Partial Refunds & Work-in-Progress

Because ARC BEAuty is a service-based business, our product is the time and expertise of Phenyo Moletsane.

  • If you cancel after 24 hours but before receiving a first draft: You will be eligible for a 50% refund. The remaining 50% is retained to cover the administrative costs of intake, research, and initial drafting.
  • If you cancel after the first draft has been delivered: No refunds will be issued. At this stage, the "BEAuty" of the document has been created and the intellectual property has been shared.

3. Client "No-Show" & Project Abandonment

In the world of professional writing, momentum is everything. To ensure your "ARC" trajectory remains accurate, we require timely communication.

  • Abandonment Rule: If a client purchase a package but fails to submit their Career History Questionnaire within 30 days, the order will be marked as "Expired."
  • Reactivation: Expired orders can be reactivated for a fee of R150.00, which covers the cost of rescheduling the project into our current workflow.
  • Silent Projects: If we send a draft and do not hear back from the client within 14 days, we will assume the draft was accepted as final, and the project will be closed.

4. Subscription & Recurring Services

Should ARC BEAuty introduce monthly career coaching or "Maintenance" subscriptions (e.g., monthly LinkedIn profile management):

  • Cancellation: Subscriptions can be canceled at any time via your Shopify account dashboard.
  • Billing Cycles: Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the next billing date. If you cancel mid-month, you will continue to receive service until the end of that current billing cycle, but no further charges will be made. No pro-rated refunds are offered for mid-month cancellations.

5. ARC BEAuty’s Right to Cancel

We strive to work with everyone, but we maintain a professional standard of mutual respect. ARC BEAuty reserves the right to cancel any project and issue a full or partial refund if:

  • The client provides fraudulent information (fake degrees or false employment history).
  • The client is abusive or unprofessional toward our staff.
  • A conflict of interest is discovered that prevents us from highlighting the "BEAuty" of your career ethically.

6. Transaction Fees

Please note that in the event of a valid refund, the third-party transaction fees (charged by PayFast, Ozow, or Shopify Payments) are non-refundable. These are costs deducted by the payment gateways and are not held by ARC BEAuty. Your refund will be the total amount minus these small processing fees.
